Happy Earth Day from AHFT!
Howdy!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Earth Day! 
I personally think it’s one of the most under-appreciated holidays of the year. Quick! Run outside and hug your backyard before it’s bedtime! Hehe.
Since this week will be pretty uneventful with the continuation of the contest, I won’t necessarily be posting “news”. Speaking of the contest, it will end up being shortened to May 9th depending on how many people sign up by Friday.
Also, courtesy of both Emily and 8stoplight8, AHFT has a new Piczo avatar! I think it looks booteeful. How about you?

Hey my Earth Science teacher made this “Sphere of Love” speech yesterday. He said was when your a baby, you Sphere of Love is only around you. But as you get older, it goes to your family, then community, state, country, planet, and universe. And even after the universe there is the furture.
And that’s what Earth Day is all about??

Holy crap the weather was just WIERD up here yesterday. It snowed in the middle of the state (THANK GOD IT MELTED), tornado in the north, and flash flood in the south.
This is gonna be a short summer…
I was in the middle, by the way. At least the lake ice has melted, but it took waaay longer than other years.
Worst winter I’ve lived through ever.

Oh c’mon Minnesota rocks! It snowed a few hours ago. But it melted THANK GOD AGAIN. This is the longest winter ever. Ususally the weather is 60-70 degrees by now. And in August, the first week always is filled with 100’s. Why that week I don’t know. But Minnesota ROCKS!
Just a long, long winter this year, I guess/hope/pray.
